Pneumonia epidemic?

Jeremy Beadle has just died - of pneumonia. He was 59. My neighbour died of pneumonia recently. She was 40. Someone close to me has been in hospital recently with pneumonia. This blog documents some more cases. Now one swallow does not a summer make, and a few anecdotal cases do not make an epidemic, but I've never heard pneumonia being mentioned as many times as it has recently.
Please keep yourself safe. If you develop a persistant cough, go to your doctor and get it checked out, especially if your chest gets rattly. If there is an epidemic coming, and I stress the if, then you must take extra precautions. It can be treated with antibiotics if caught in time.
And see how long it takes for the mainstream media to pick up on this story.

I believe Mr Beadle was also suffering from Leukemia which would have severely lowered his resistance to pneumonia.
Your advice is still worth taking note of though.

Can't believe cheeky minx got in before me whilst I was contemplating a response. She is all over our blogs that brazen "woman".
You make a very good point Deacon. We may look at bubonic plague and such things as scourges of the past, but there are always new threats. E-Coli 0157, MRSA are just a couple of the new problems we face.
As you know my mum died from pneumonia last month. Not unexpected, given her medical condition, but still possibly significant.
Beadle was hardly an old man by today's standards. A bit of a shock personally. And your friend dieing at 40!
I have to say I agree with you. I think those nasty microbes are making a comeback. We need to be on our guard.

thats bizarre because I have been wondering myself if something was going around. I know of a woman of 65 apparently in good health, who wasn't feeling well and was found dead next morning from Pneumonia. Then a week later a man of 61 again apparently in good health, had " abit of a flu" and then died suddenly of Pneu. This was followed by Beadle then I heard of a 4th person in their 50s who also died of it. Mt secretary's sister is 51 and now has it. It really does make you wonder!

I am also noticing a marked increase in incidence of pnumonia. Among all ages, and all general health conditions.

Are any of you familiar with Chem Trails ? the airplane trails that are NOT condensation trails ? Con (condensation) trails dissipate fairly quickly, minutes, behind an airplane. Chem (chemical) trails seem to stay, and then turn into clouds.
What is in these chem trails ?

curious !
